I’m donating a 2-day “Exploring an Aesthetic” workshop for two at my Hornby Island studio with accommodations for two in a lovely house within walking distance from my studio. This offering is part of the silent auction line up of the event. For more information about the fundraiser click here, to buy tickets to the event, click here.
My workshop is a total of six hours over two afternoons. We will use reflective writing, photography, and discussion to reinvigorate your creative practice. This workshop was offered at The Metchosin International Summer School for the Arts in June, 2018 to a wonderful group of students who all said they enjoyed it tremendously. We will be able to take in the beaches and forests of Hornby Island for the photography component of the workshop and enjoy the rest of our time in my studio. Students will bring a camera or phone with photo capacity, a note book, and clothing for all types of weather. We’ll be outside rain or shine! A basic level of fitness will be required as we may be out for an hour or so in the woods and on the beach.
Accommodations are in a lovely house in close proximity to my studio. A large, fully equipped kitchen is available to make meals. The house is a ten-minute-walk from Sandpiper Beach.
